We are looking for a  Brand Manager (Lovol) M/F  based in:   Cameroon

 

Job Description:

 

The purpose of the position is to lead the launch of a new brand of machinery marketed by CFAO MOBILITY CAMEROON (Lovol) and to develop the commercial activity of the products in the portfolio (turnover, margin, market share), while ensuring the sustainability of customer satisfaction.

Classified in category 10, the position reports to the Equipment Sales Director, and supervises a team currently made up of 2 Sales Advisors. 

The dynamic within the Equipment division is made up of a passion for customer satisfaction, agile collaboration and a permanent desire to take on challenges!

 

Job responsibilities

 


Trade 

  • Contribute to the definition of the commercial strategy.
  • Define commercial plans, objectives and KPIs and ensure their effective achievement, from prospecting to finalization of the sale. 
  • Monitor customer balances and oversee collections
  • Maintain collaboration with agency Directors and Sales Managers to boost sales, and provide support if necessary.
  • Maintain personal involvement in closing deals with major prospects and clients. 
  • Ensure the monitoring of ordered products, from the establishment of pro-formas to delivery and payment, in compliance with deadline requirements and procedures.
  • Contribute to the actions and tools developed with Marketing, with a view to promoting the products in the portfolio (trade fairs, open days, etc.)
  • Ensure responses to calls for tender from companies and administrations.
  • Ensure the processing of complaints and, more generally, customer satisfaction.

 

Leadership

  • Gain buy-in and motivation from all teams on goals, plans and activity.
  • Carry out efficient management of employee performance (setting objectives, defining KPIs, feedback, coaching, field support, monitoring of results and evaluation, recognition, Performance Improvement Plan, disciplinary processes, etc.) and develop skills within the team.
  • Define working methods and implement the tools necessary for efficient sales visits (sales books, pricing, customer listings, monthly visit planning, reports, etc.)
  • Monitor daily HR management aspects: leave planning, absences, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with all Cfao Safety and Quality standards: Anzen, Kaizen, Clio.

 


Decision support tools

  • Establish competitive intelligence, analyze the market and its potential, in order to contribute to the structuring of the commercial offer, and in particular propose credit policies and marketing actions.
  • Provide analyses, work plans and reports according to the schedule established by the hierarchy.

 

 

Profile sought:

 

 

Technical skills sought 

  • Mastery of sales and negotiation techniques, acquired through solid field experience.
  • Ability to implement a product development strategy.
  • Strong analytical skills, and good numerical and logical skills. 
  • A good knowledge of the type of products marketed would be an asset.
  • Ability to unite and motivate a team. Previous experience of successful team management.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in French, combined with good knowledge of business English. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite: Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
