With a view to strengthening the teams of its Information Systems Department and in connection with the AIR+ project (Programme de Global Digital Transformation), Advans Cameroon is launching an external call for applications for the position of “IT Project Supervisor”.

Place of duty: Douala Headquarters Contract: CDI Number of positions: 1

Missions / Responsibilities:

Placed under the responsibility of the DSI, the IT Project Supervisor will have the following main missions:

FORECAST MISSIONS:  
Participate in the preparation of annual budgets for investment in hardware / software or in application development in conjunction with the operational teams
Put in place a flowchart that describes the internal project management process Apply
the group’s project management standard through the systematic and correct use of the tools recommended therein
Contribute to the development of the provisional schedule and the provisional budget of the various IT projects
Define the quality requirements of the various IT projects
Develop the matrix of risks inherent in each IT project and set up a plan to deal with these risks, in coordination with the Risk Department.
Set up performance indicators (KPI) for all projects
MANAGEMENT AND PRODUCTION MISSIONS
Supervise the institution’s IT projects on a daily basis, in particular the design of specifications, monitoring of developments and implementations
Keep the repository of IT projects: all documentation, procedures, etc.
Organize the maintenance of the institution’s IT infrastructure management/maintenance software
Train key users on new software/new infrastructure or on changes made to software/IT infrastructure
Organize the transfer of knowledge to the production teams (Management Information System Team – GIS and Network System Equipment and IT Security Team -CSR)

Ensure the security of computer data (data confidentiality / Securing access) as part of the various projects he supervises.
Write and propose updates to procedures relating to GIS or CSR projects.
Provide technology watch in the field of GIS/CSR
Ensure continuous improvement of GIS/CSR services
Be proactive in improving the internal project management process
Propose tools and best practices in IT project management
Create, on request, specific reports on the progress and performance of IT
projects regularly report to the DSI, the General Management and the Steering Committees of the various projects on the progress of the projects, and make appropriate proposals with a view to greater operational efficiency in the management of IT projects
Put in place good plans of communication around the various IT projects
Assist and advise other departments in the management of their projects if necessary.
CONTROL MISSIONS:
Control the compliance of software/systems with the various standards concerned
Control and measure the satisfaction of consumer customers of the products delivered
Control the quality of the deliverables throughout the project: Quality assurance, etc.
Control and ensure the continuous improvement of the quality of the products delivered: final software, etc.
Apply the group’s project management standard through the systematic and correct use of the tools recommended therein
Contribute to the development of the provisional schedule and the provisional budget of the various IT projects
Define the quality requirements of the various IT projects
Set up performance indicators (KPI) for all projects
Profile / Profile:   
Skills and qualities required:

Mastery of software development
Mastery of ERP configuration
Skill in conceptualization and modeling of Information Systems
Skill in IT infrastructure is a asset
Project management skills
ITIL certification is an asset
Project Management Professional certification (PMP from the Project Management Institute-PMI) is an asset
Mastery of banking software configuration is essential
Pragmatism, sense of organization, strength of proposal, autonomy, pedagogy.
Good analytical and synthesis skills
Ability in spoken and written French and English.
Ability to work under essential pressure
 Profile required:

Level of studies: Bac +4 /5 (Engineer or Master) in software engineering or in IT project management

Experience: 7 years minimum of significant professional experience, including 2 to 3 years of experience as an IT application developer and 3 to 4 years as an IT project manager in an SME or large company with responsibility for supervising a team of 2 to 3 people.
