Responsibilities

The Management Controller monitors and analyzes revenues and costs of country and sub-regional activities (pay-TV satellite and terrestrial ).

 

It also helps the governing bodies to define the overall economic strategy of the company and to optimize its financial profitability. To do this, it helps them define realistic provisional budget objectives based on data from different departments of the company (particularly sales departments) and financial studies.

The main tasks incumbent on the management controller are as follows:

– Develop and implement management and monitoring tools, procedures and verify their proper use;

– Produce regular reports on the activities of the subsidiaries concerned;

– Supervise accounting closings;

 

– Develop budgets and monitor their application;

– Monitor the differences between the provisional objectives and the objectives achieved and propose corrective actions if necessary;

– Analyze and measure the performance of the subsidiaries;

– Share with the general management, important information likely to serve the objectives of the company.

Educational Requirements

– Higher level of study ESC specialization Finance, Management control, Accounting-Control-Audit;

Experience Requirements

– 4 to 5 years’ experience in the Telecom and/or Media sector;

– Confirmed profile in finance and management control and solid experience in team management;

 

 

– Have excellent knowledge of accounting;

– Master the office tools essential to his activity (spreadsheet, database, accounting software, etc.);

– Know the business sector of ***

– Master the analysis and processing of accounting and financial information;

– Fluent English appreciated;

– Work experience in a large multinational group would be an asset;

– Knowing how to synthesize information;

– Geographical mobility and strong appetite for Africa.

– Excellent communication, strength of conviction and strong business acumen;

– Ability to synthesize information and communicate with interlocutors and leading partners;

– Ability to adapt to new situations and to absorb a sustained workload;

– Know how to demonstrate rigor and organization;
