MAIN MISSION

As part of the monitoring of dams, the topographic technician carries out auscultation activities and carries out data collection campaigns for hydroelectric developments in compliance with norms, standards and rules of the art. It also carries out topography operations as part of maintenance missions and projects requiring APS and APD studies.

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND TASKS

• Execute the schedule of the campaign planning for the auscultation of hydroelectric dams and reservoirs;
• Collect geotechnical and structural auscultation data from hydroelectric dams and reservoirs;
• Update the database in the Dam Monitoring Portal;
• Participate and support the project teams during the definition and studies in the topographic component;
• Accompany the closure of projects.

PROFILE

• BAC + 2 level in Topography or equivalent diploma;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in geomatics topography.

Technical Competencies

• Good knowledge of expropriation procedures;
• Good knowledge of land securitization;
• Mastery of topographic and cadastral management;
• Good geomatics knowledge;
• Mastery of the handling of topography equipment (total station, level, GPS, sights, prisms, tripod);
• Mastery of AUTOCAD, COVADIS, EPANET etc. software;
• Good experience with public procurement.
