Training aims

1. Ensure the coordination of programs and projects;
2. Know the humanitarian approaches
3. Appropriate the strategic and operational planning of activities;
4. Optimize the management of human and financial resources;
5. Coordinate activities between partner institutions;

 

 

 

1. Ensure internal and external communication on project activities;
2. Know the management of changes and risks;
3. Coordinate the evaluation of portfolios, programs and projects;
4. Ensure the planning and monitoring and evaluation of project activities;
5. Drafting of reports and Terms of Reference (TOR)

 

 

Methodological approach

Great attention will be given to the practical experience of the participants. Real cases will be used for simulation and work. Exchanges of experience will be encouraged throughout the workshop.

– PowerPoint presentations on the content of various training modules;

– Group work to put into practice the theoretical training received, but also to develop ideas, knowledge and    exploitable results;

– Facilitation of plenary discussions to promote ownership of the results of this training by all stakeholders

Trainer Profile

The training will be led by a highly experienced professional with multiple proven skills in the field of Coordination of Development Portfolios, Programs and Projects in West and Central Africa (WCA).

Date and place of training

The training will take place from 07 to 11 November 2022 in Douala – Cameroon. It will also take place online via videoconference for participants who are unable to attend and also live outside Cameroon.

NB: The health protocol for the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic established by the Cameroonian Government and the WHO will be strictly respected for face-to-face participants.

 

 

 

Training cost

1. Special Scheme: 150,000 FCFA;
2. Online Special Regime: 175,000 FCFA (including the costs of sending the Certificate and the support of the said training to the person concerned);
3. Support by NGOs/Companies: 350,000 FCFA

This cost takes into account training materials, coffee breaks and lunches. Travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the participant.

A Certificate of End of Training will be issued to each participant; in order to assert what is right.
