As part of the implementation of the DIC activities for the new GC7 grant, the OBC
Association of Young Solidarity of Garoua (AJSGA) is launching a call for applications for the recruitment
of a Doctor
1- Job title: (01) Doctor
Contract duration: 12 months renewable after evaluation, a trial period of at least one month will be observed.
Contract type: Fixed-term contract
Occupancy rate: 100%
Workplace: Garoua
A- FUNCTIONS
Main mission: responsible for all medical and paramedical activities to be carried out at the
DIC
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide medical consultations within the DIC
Ensure that all patients are treated according to legal and generally available protocols
and in particular for HIV / AIDS, STIs and hepatitis;
Ensure the management and treatment of cases of pathologies of the anal margin;
Conduct clinical consultations with patients presenting symptoms;
Carry out medical prescriptions for diseases detected;related
database Guarantee diagnoses and initiation of antiretroviral treatment, opportunistic infectionsand co-infections; Referral of patients requiring psychosocial treatment; Initiate and monitor clients on PrEP; Ensure the proper management of medical equipment and similar equipment; Promote hygiene, health and safety through biosecurity; Prepare reports, notes and periodic reports provided for in the context of its activities; Participate in coordination meetings and any activity requiring its presence; Respect and enforce discipline; Perform any other task within the scope of his activities, or assigned to him by thehierarchy, in accordance with the texts in force at the Association.
B- Job profile Candidates for this position must: – Have BAC + 7, specifically a degree in medicine- Have professional experience of at least 02 years in the practice of medicine- Have a diploma of specialized studies in proctology or hepato-gastroenterology orsurgery would be an asset- Knowledge of key populations would also be an asset- Be registered on the register of doctors of Cameroon- Have worked with key populations would be an asset
– Reside in the place of assignment
