A local company is looking for the following services: 01 Accountant M/F.

Contract type: Permanent

Location: Douala-Cameroon

Job description:

Under the authority of the Promoter, the accountant’s main missions will be to:

• Record accounting transactions;
• Ensure pro-forma invoices and delivery notes;
• Ensure the monitoring of customer and supplier invoices as well as payment reminders to customers;
• Carry out periodic inventories;
• Account for and record canteen receipts;
• Proceed with the counting of daily receipts; Check all cash registers daily;
• Monitor bar and other beverage sales;
• Complete monthly tax returns;
• Prepare summary documents such as the income statement, balance sheets, operating account and balance sheet;
• Perform all other tasks assigned by management according to the needs of the department.

Desired Profile and Experience:

• Minimum of a Professional License in Accounting with 2 years of experience.
• Master the use of Word, Excel and Sage Saari accounting and sales software;
• Show initiative;
• Be flexible and demonstrate rigor (respect for deadlines, reliability);
• To be honest;
• Have good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
