Accountant – OBC ESPOIR +, Douala
As part of the implementation of the activities of the Global Fund GC7 project, in particular the operationalization of a Drop-in-Center within the OBC,
OBC ESPOIR + is considering recruiting the following human resources:

1. Required profile
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Management, Administration, Accounting and Business Management, or any specialty deemed equivalent; 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting and administrative management, good
knowledge of the community environment, mastery of OBCs.
2. Functions and responsibilities
Main mission: Ensure the maintenance of general and analytical accounting for all operations included in the implementation of the Association’s commitment system according to current accounting standards, more specifically:
• Participate in the centralization of the OBC’s accounting;
• Process, verify the conformity and classification of accounting documents;
• Codify and record accounting documents;
• Apply the accounting and financial procedure in force in the association;
• Participate in updating accounting management and logistics software;
• Keep all cash journals and bank journals for the head office and branches on software and in manuscript;
• Have any document requiring classification or routing checked and endorsed;
• Participate in the administrative and financial management of the payment of salaries and allowances of all stakeholders;
• Participate in the preparation of financial statements;
• Carry out bank reconciliation statements;
• Participate in the monitoring and control of approved budgets;
• Provide the financial statements to the DIC Coordinator and the Community Mobilization Officer, each as far as they are concerned;
Composition of the file:
• CV of two pages maximum ;
• Signed cover letter;
• At least one letter of recommendation with contact details of reference persons,
• Photocopy of required diplomas and/or certificates
• Photocopies of certificates or proof of experience.
• Three references (names and surnames, organizations, positions, telephone and e-mails)
