Action Against Hunger is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). International, apolitical, non-denominational and non-profit. For our operations in Cameroon, we are looking for: A Human Resources Development and Administration Officer
JOB OBJECTIVE :
Ensure the development and administrative follow-up of national staff, ensure the administrative follow-up of expatriate files and participate in the achievement of the objectives of the Human Resources Department
MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Mission 1: Monitor the training plan and staff development
Mission 2: Administer the Talent Bridge platform
Mission 3: Follow the recruitment process
Mission 4: Participate in the activities of the HR department
Mission 5: Administrative follow-up of national staff
Mission 6: Follow-up of administrative documents and movements of expatriate staff
DEGREES/LEVEL OF EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
-
- Bac + 3 in Law or Human Resources Management or equivalent level.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the same position or in a position of similar level of responsibility would be appreciated.
- At least 1 year of field experience is desirable
- Humanitarian experience would be an asset.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge of the country’s labour legislation
- Mastery of management and IT tools (Office Pack, Homere, etc.)
- Skills in Personnel Administration
- Team management skills
- Training Competencies and Skills Development
SPECIFIC SKILLS:
- Sense of confidentiality
- Rigor, Pragmatism and responsiveness
- Good communication, feedback
- Good interpersonal skills
- Speed in the execution of tasks
- Forces of proposal
- Team spirit
- Ease of adaptation and rigor
- Good expression skills (oral and written)
- Mastery of management and IT tools (Office Pack, Homere, etc.)
- Easy to adapt to new tools
- Good command of English and French
RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE
The Action Against Hunger recruitment process consists of 3 key steps:
1. A pre-selection on the basis of the submitted file (only candidates whose skills and experience correspond to the profile described in the offer are selected for the written test)
2. A written technical test
3. An oral interview
For each stage, only selected candidates are contacted.
