ADMINISTRATIVE AND FINANCIAL DIRECTOR

SECTOR OF ACTIVITY:  Financial institutions

LOCATION:  Douala

TYPE OF CONTRACT  CDI with trial HIERARCHICAL REPORTING

MAIN MISSION

Ensure the financial, administrative, fiscal and social management of the holding company and its subsidiaries, guaranteeing the reliability of the accounts, the transparency of operations, regulatory compliance and the optimization of resources.

ACTIVITIES


A. Financial and accounting management

  •  Supervise the maintenance of the accounts of the holding company and subsidiaries in accordance with SYSCOHADA standards, COBAC rules and COSUMAF obligations;
  •  Prepare the consolidated budget and ensure budget monitoring (control of variances, recommendations).

B. Taxation and Compliance

  •  Ensure the application of Cameroonian and CEMAC sub-regional tax regulations;
  •  Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations specific to financial activities (COBAC, COSUMAF, MINFI, BEAC).

C. General administration and purchasing

  • Define and manage the purchasing and supply policy;
  •  Negotiate and monitor contracts with suppliers and service providers;
  •  Optimize the management of general resources (vehicle fleet, premises, equipment, logistics).

D. Administrative Management

  •  Oversee personnel administration (payroll, contracts, social declarations, legal compliance).

E. Governance and reporting

  •  Regularly present the financial and administrative situation of the group to the Managing Director and the Board of Directors;
  •  Actively participate in defining the group’s strategy and its operational implementations.

 

PROFILE OF THE HOLDER

TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

 

  • AL/Bac + 5 in Banking, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent;
  •  Minimum 10 years’ experience in a bank or other financial institution;
  • Experience in a similar position is an asset;
  • Be at least 40 years old.

TECHNICAL SKILLS (HARD SKILLS)

  •  Mastery of revised SYSCOHADA and IFRS standards (for consolidation and reporting to investors);
  •  Mastery of budget management and management control techniques;
  •  Skills in financial analysis, profitability assessment and financial risk management.
  •  Good acceptable knowledge of Cameroonian and community taxation (CEMAC);
  •  Mastery of the specific obligations of COBAC (microfinance), COSUMAF (stock market and asset management), BEAC (monetary regulation).
  •  Skills in tender management, negotiation and management of supplier contracts;
  •  Ability to implement an integrated purchasing policy for the group (standardization, cost rationalization).

PERSONAL SKILLS (SOFT SKILLS)

  •  Ability to unite, motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams;
  •  Forward-looking mindset and ability to anticipate the financial impacts of strategic choices;
  •  Excellent written and oral communication skills (financial reports, presentations to investors, CA);
  • Integrity and absolute respect for confidentiality;
