ADMINISTRATIVE AND FINANCIAL MANAGER (F/M) – GOLF OF GUINEA ENGINEERING
GOLF OF GUINEA ENGINEERING limited liability company created in 2012, specialized in Civil Engineering and Metal Construction, is looking for the needs of its services in the city of Douala for candidates for the position of ADMINISTRATIVE AND FINANCIAL MANAGER.
Job Description:
Ensure that adequate financial procedures are in place to maintain proper accounting of income and expenditure;
Ensure that financial transactions are properly authorized, recorded, have adequate supporting documentation, are completed, maintained and can be easily retrieved for the preparation of financial statements and audits;
Track budgets and expenses;
Set up a computerized accounting and financial management system;
Manage cash and bank accounts and reconcile with bank statements, including controlling disbursements and balancing books and records;
Make the payment of salaries; allowances, travel claims and other payments to staff, vendors and other beneficiaries;
Prepare and submit weekly cash flow statements;
Prepare and submit reliable and timely monthly financial reports
Prepare annual financial reports, including project financial reports;
Monitor social and tax issues;
Prepare routine official correspondence, faxes, memos and reports;
Organize receipt of shipments, customs clearance procedures, preparation of documents for shipments
Perform any other task requested by the Manager.
Required profile:
- Hold a bachelor’s or higher degree in accounting, finance, commerce, administration or equivalent;
- Have at least 3 years of relevant continuous work experience in an administrative and financial function;
- Excellent knowledge of accounting, financial and administrative procedures in force in Cameroon;
- Excellent knowledge of taxation in the Republic of Cameroon;
- Demonstrated experience in procurement and preparation of financial reports and budget variance analysis;
- Master the SAGE SAARI accounting software
- Master computer tools such as word processing, spreadsheets and multimedia applications;
- Have good communication and analytical skills;
- Have an orientation towards the achievement of results and an ability to work independently;
- Have a good command of the French language, a working knowledge of English would be an additional asset;
- Basic training in management accounting (BAC G2) would be a plus.
