The University of Buea has officially announced that admissions for the Higher Teachers Training College (HTTC) are open for the 2024/2025 academic year. This prestigious opportunity is available for candidates aspiring to be teachers in secondary and higher institutions in Cameroon. The application process is now underway, and all eligible candidates are invited to apply.

Available Programs: Admissions are open for the following programs:

First Year, First Cycle : Bilingual Letters, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, ICT, Economics, English Modern Letters, French Modern Letters, Geography, Geology, History, Mathematics, Natural Science, and Physics.
First Year, Second Cycle : Bilingual Letters, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, ICT, Economics, English Modern Letters, French Modern Letters, Geography, Geology, Guidance and Counseling, History, Mathematics, Natural Science, Philosophy, Physics, Science of Education , and Special Needs Education.

Eligibility Requirements:

For First Year, First Cycle :
A certified copy of the GCE O/L Certificate or equivalent (issued within the last six months).
For First Year, Second Cycle :

Transcripts of levels I, II, and III of a Bachelor’s degree or License results certified by an academic authority.
A certified copy of the Bachelor’s degree or License.

Additional Documents Required:

A certified copy of the Birth Certificate .
A Medical Certificate .
A Letter of sponsorship from a verified private educational institution.
Two passport-sized photographs .
An A4 stamped, self-addressed envelope .

Application Procedure: Candidates must download the application form from www.ubuea.cm and submit it with the above-listed documents. A non-refundable application fee of 20,000 FCFA should be deposited at NFC Bank (Account Number: 10025 00043 17101147450 61).

Submission Deadline: Complete application files should be submitted to Rooms 212 or 214 of the Higher Teachers Training College, University of Buea, on or before Friday, December 13th, 2024 , at 3:30 pm .

Tuition Fees: Admitted candidates will be required to pay a tuition/registration fee of 250,000 FCFA per academic year.
