The African Intellectual Property Organization is seeking applications for the recruitment of 02 drivers.

Level (Grade): Support Officer II

Date of entry into service: Two weeks after notification of recruitment

Duration of engagement: Permanent employment after a trial period of three (3) months

Administrative Unit: Office of the Director General

Duty Station: Yaoundé, Republic of Cameroon

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Be a national of one of OAPI’s member countries and reside in Cameroon.
• be at least 18 years old and not more than 55 years old on the closing date for applications;
• enjoy civil rights and be of good character.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the responsibility of their supervisors, the incumbents of the posts are mainly responsible for:

• Lead staff;
• Carry out the shopping of the services;
• Send packages and miscellaneous mail;
• Perform vehicle maintenance;
• Ensure the administrative follow-up of the vehicle;
• Participate in inventories and receipts of equipment ➢ Provide logistical support to the various entities of the Organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Hold a Certificate of Elementary Primary Studies (CEPE);
• Hold a category B or C driving license;
• Master the defensive driving of category B vehicles;
• Have at least three years of professional experience.

COMPOSITION OF THE APPLICATION FILE

Any candidate for this position must prepare a file containing the following documents:

• a cover letter;
• an extract from a birth certificate or a certified copy of the birth certificate or court judgment thereof;
• a detailed curriculum vitae;
• a certified copy of the driving license, the Certificate of Elementary Primary Studies, other diplomas, titles, certificates of qualification;
• an extract from the criminal record less than three months old;
• a regularly established certificate of public or private jobs previously held and indicating their duration;
• a medical examination certificate, less than three months old, attesting that the candidate meets the conditions of physical and mental fitness.

REMUNERATION

The position is classified in the SG2 category of the salary grid in force at OAPI. Recruitment is done at 1^erechelon. The person concerned will benefit from the benefits and allowances under the conditions provided for by the texts in force.

The successful candidate must, prior to taking up service:

• Present the originals of his diplomas, titles and civil status documents;
• provide a certificate on his honour of free engagement if he is not an official or an act of secondment if he is an official.
