MISSIONS 




The mission of the Food or Process Engineer is to organize production, coordinate manufacturing and teams, ensure compliance with quantities and deadlines. Quality management: Control the quantities manufactured, check the quality of products, ensure compliance with health and environmental safety standards.

ACTIVITIES

Manufacturing stress analysis



  • Prepare provisional production plans for Semolina, Mayonnaise, Margarine projects
  • Develop the production resource requirements for each project in collaboration with equipment suppliers (PROXEX, SPX)
  • Prepare raw material and consumable needs tables for each project
  • Define storage plans for raw materials
  • Develop predictive industrial management control plans
  • Participate in the development of industrial performance management plans for current and future projects
  • Translate the elements of the specifications into production objectives.
  • Determine load plans: raw material needs, subcontracting parts, etc.
  • Plan production objectives (products or ranges), investments and resources (humans, machines, etc.) in the short and medium term.

Manufacturing Management

  • Monitor the completion of investments according to the defined budget
  • Guarantee costs, intervention times and control the quality of production.
  • Guarantee the supply and availability of equipment and stocks (raw materials, semi-finished products, etc.).
  • Comply with the safety and quality standards of the manufacturing process.
  • Analyze day-to-day production monitoring indicators (reporting data, dashboards, waste rates, breakdown rates, etc.).
  • Build or improve performance indicators and take the necessary readjustment measures to improve production.
  • Manage service providers to ensure the continuity of the production flow (availability of parts, supply of raw materials, etc.).

Reliability and process improvement

  • Implement continuous improvement of the industrial organization
  • Participate in projects to modernize the production tool (adaptation to new products, ergonomics, etc.) to reduce costs.
  • Plan the necessary adjustments to reduce production cycles (reorganizations, change of working methods, etc.) or adapt to new orders (modification of the production apparatus, reorganization of teams, etc.).

  • Set up and monitor indicators relating to the activity of the service (technical dashboard,

Monitoring of relationships with customers and service providers

  • Supervise the intervention of service providers (subcontractors, equipment manufacturers, spare parts manufacturers) and organize cooperation with internal teams.
  • Facilitate the intervention of experts in regulatory control to meet administrative obligations (labour inspection, control bodies, etc.).

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

 




PROFILE

  • Academic level: Diploma of Food Engineer, Process Engineer / PMP
  • Additional training and/or qualification: PMP/ Project Management
  • Professional experience: 10 years in production management
  • Maximum age: 50 years

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Mastery of the techniques used in the manufacture of products.
  • Management skills in order to develop his teams while ensuring the profitability of production.
  • Knowledge of the production environment, including support functions (logistics, maintenance, etc.).
  • Sector-specific knowledge of the company’s activity
  • Knowledge of economics and administrative management.
  • Mastery of continuous improvement techniques
  • Mastery of statistical tools, software packages and/or production management software (ERP, SAP, GPAO…).
