Agricultural Financing Advisor – CECIC SA Credit and Savings for the Financing of Trade and Industry in Cameroon

A position to be filled

CECIC SA, a 2nd category microfinance institution, is actively seeking
an Agricultural Finance Advisor for its Bangangté branch.

MISSIONS
The Assistant Agricultural Finance Advisor contributes significantly to the development of a portfolio of clients responsible for agricultural operations. He rigorously analyzes financing requests from agricultural businesses, mastering the concepts of risk and profitability.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
-Build and develop a portfolio of clients of agricultural operators: -Propose financial support offers to farmers:
-Collect relevant information to carry out a detailed analysis of the financial situation of credit applicants;

-Analyze financing requests from agricultural businesses; -Present credit files to the Agency Committee;
-Monitor daily the smooth repayment of agricultural credits;
-Ensure daily customer relations in order to control the risk and profitability of agricultural holdings in the portfolio (monitoring);
-Propose to the General Management financial solutions adapted and meeting the needs of the target clientele in compliance with procedures;
-Participate in the operational monitoring of field activities within the framework of the TRANSFAGRI project;

-Contribute to the search for financial partners in order to mobilize medium and long-term resources for the financing of agricultural activities:
-Report on its activities;
-Monitor the market, prices charged and conditions offered by competitors to determine the relevance and adequacy of the establishment’s agricultural credit offer.
REQUIRED PROFILE
-Have a minimum of bac+3 and at least three (3) years in a similar position or bac+5 with at least one (1) year in a similar position, graduated from an agricultural/agricultural engineering school, business school or university;
Have good technical skills in agricultural financing and the associated risks; -Master the agricultural sector;
-Be results-oriented
-Have a good knowledge of the Microfinance sector;
-Be reliable and transparent.
