Aim and Benefits of AKU AKU Fellowship Programmes
Fellowship programmes build on the strengths of the residency programmes and aim to provide focused and in-depth training in a specific sub-specialty. Requirements for AKU AKU Fellowship Programmes Qualification
The basic criterion for entry into any fellowship programme is the completion of a full residency training programme (Masters degree in medicine or equivalent postgraduate course) in the parent specialty. Other requirements include Bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch.B) or equivalent; Registration by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (or other recognised medical board) and at least 4 years post internship experience.
