Reporting to: Marketing and Brand Manager
Hours: 40 hours per week
Duration: Six Months, with possibility to extend

Overall purpose of the job

The AMBI Group is a Group of Companies operating throughout Cameroon. The Company has Interest in Education, Logistics, Construction and Agribusiness. We are recruiting for a Digital Marketing Assistant to assist with the implementation of AMBI’s Digital Marketing Strategy to achieve agreed targets and key performance indicators and keeping up to date with new Digital Marketing Techniques. The post-holder will also contribute to the long-term development of our Digital Marketing Strategy.

Key responsibilities and tasks include:

• • Coordinate all social media channels in a consistent on brand’ voice in line with our standards.
  • Ensure the website and social media platforms are fully optimised for search engines and identify suitable websites to build links with.

• Increase the number of followers, ‘likes’ and audiences for our digital marketing and social media outputs.
• Use digital methods, newsletters, and offline marketing strategies to reach a wider audience Recruit, develop and retain marketing agents and other supporters
• Monitor, report and analyse results to improve performance, using tools such as Google analytics and others.
• Create content for social media audience
• Fully exploit the social media and digital marketing potential.
• Other activities as required by Management.

Requirements and Qualifications

• HND or BSc. in E-Commerce, Marketing or Mass Communication. Writing for online, print and social media communications
• Good eye for detail
• Good organisational skills, for every aspect of the role.
• Skills in Graphic Design and Photo/Video Editing
• Microsoft Word and Excel software packages.
• Use of the major social media and digital marketing platforms.
