AMSCO is looking for 01 Web Application Developer (DAW) as part of the development of its activities

Position Base and Location: This position is based in the General Management in Yaoundé.

Main mission:

The purpose of the proposed mission will be to contribute to the development and evolution of these applications in compliance with Agile methods (Scrum / Kanban).

WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze requirements and model applications:
1. Participation in the definition of functional requirements in collaboration with all operational services,2
. Functional needs analysis with modelling,3
. Design of IT solutions with modelling,4
. Drafting of detailed specification files (analysis, modeling, design).

Develop and maintain applications:
1. Application development,2
. Design and execution of test cases,3
. Containerization and automatic deployment of developed applications appreciated,4
. Implementation and maintenance of high-volume data processing systems appreciated,5
. Management of evolutionary and corrective maintenance requests,6
. Integration of mobile applications developed with the company’s existing web applications,7
. Configuration and integration of mobile applications on the market with existing applications of the company,8
. Ensure compliance with the Scrum method within the development team

Assist users:
1. User training,2
. Assistance to operational teams: remote analysis and resolution of after-sales service cases related to deployed software,3
. Drafting of the technical documentation necessary for the sustainability of the maintenance of deployed applications in compliance with the standards put in place.

PROFILE SOUGHT

• Training level BAC + 5 (or equivalent) in computer science, specialized in the development of software and mobile applications,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position,
• Mastery of Java, SQL, Javascript programming languages
• Mastery of HTML5 and CSS3
• Mastery of Java, Spring boot, VueJS, Tomcat, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, JUnit environments
• Mastering the Spring Batch framework
• Mastery of collaborative tools for teams of developers (Git/GitLab, Jira) and CI/CD with GitLab
• Appreciated knowledge of the Flutter framework
• Valued knowledge in the field of Big Data
• Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong ability to work in a team
• Strong autonomy and ability to work in project mode
• Strong motivation to work in a social impact start-up, and strong interest in environmental issues and energy access.
