KPMG Central Africa is recruiting an Audit Manager (Banking and Insurance Specialty), the position is based in Douala, Cameroon.
Responsibilities:
• Actively participate in statutory audit and audit missions in the banking and insurance sector;
• Effectively supervise your teams in carrying out the missions;
• Lead training provided to our clients via the KPMG training center;
• Manage customer relations and ensure excellent quality of service;
• Get involved in the life of the firm (Strategy, internal projects, innovation, recruitment and coaching of teams, Go-to Markets, etc.).
Profile sought:
• You have a minimum level of education equivalent to a BAC +5 in finance/accounting/Audit;
• Ideally, you are a qualified Chartered Accountant or Trainee Chartered Accountant;
• You have a good command of IAS/IFRS standards;
• You have at least 7 years of experience in an international audit firm.
Soft Skills
• A good teacher and listener, you have an impact on your contacts;
• Your interpersonal, managerial, organizational and planning skills and your taste for communication foster relationships of trust with your clients and colleagues;
• Analytical and synthesis skills;
• Written and oral communication skills;
• Team spirit and initiative (proactivity);
• Good command of English.
