The GROUPE AGROMAF-SDV is looking for an Accountant M/F for the needs of its services.

Job location: Douala

MISSIONS:

The Accountant will be required to ensure the maintenance of accounting, in compliance with established procedures, ensuring the regularity and reliability of the accounts

ACTIVITIES:

Maintain general and/or analytical accounting, and check the consistency of the accounting documents produced

Make payments and/or collections, and manage oppositions

Carry out accounting monitoring of assets and connection with the inventory

Produce accounting and legal documents (balance sheets, income statements, annexes, management reports, etc.) for distribution

Participate in the definition, drafting and updating of accounting procedures and rules, and their conditions of application

Maintain relations with financial partners and control bodies

Participate in the financial, statistical and budgetary analysis of the company.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Have very good knowledge of financial management and general accounting.

Master accounting and financial regulations.

Master accounting and financial analysis software and tools.

Know the needs of the treasury.

Know accounting procedures.

Master MS Excel (be able to create spreadsheets and use Excel accounting and financial functions).

Master accounting software

Have great ease with numbers.

Have solid notions in general and analytical accounting

Analyze the data of a situation: anomalies in data restitution, consistency of the data returned

Define and implement a procedure and indicators for control and monitoring

Develop and monitor a budget

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory provisions

QUALITIES REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION

Good resistance to stress and endurance in work

Sense of negotiation and diplomacy to interact with different interlocutors

Flexibility, availability, and mobility.

Demonstrate rigor, precision and organization (respect of deadlines, reliability, etc.)

Attention to detail and ability to spot calculation errors.

Be honest in all interactions, and able to build real partnerships with customers and internally with other functions.

Dynamic in work

Have good financial analysis skills

PROFILE

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, and a minimum BTS in Accounting and Business Management/Accounting Finance or any other equivalent diploma, and have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position. Knowledge of the food production and import-export sector will be an asset
