The Immigration Hub is excited to share that we are currently accepting applications for the 2023 cohort of the Immigration Leadership Hub (ILH).
The Immigration Hub is a national organization dedicated to advancing fair and just immigration policies through strategic leadership, innovative communications strategies, legislative advocacy and collaborative partnerships.
About the Program:
The Immigration Leadership Hub is a leadership program designed to provide ten rising immigration justice leaders with mentorship and training to prepare them to step into leadership positions on Capitol Hill, in the administration, and within the immigrants’ rights movement.
Directly-impacted BIPOC leaders are especially encouraged to apply.
The Immigration Leadership Hub will launch in May 2023 and run for six months through October 2023.
The program will consist of:
- In-person welcome and capstone events held in DC in May and October (specific dates TBD; travel and accommodations will be provided).
- Being matched with a mentor who will provide career guidance throughout the course of the program and facilitate networking connections.
- An extensive leadership development curriculum consisting of 5 comprehensive training/workshop sessions that will vary in length, 2-3 speaker panels, and at least 1 individualized coaching session.
- Training sessions will range from one hour to a half day and will be held during business hours, often on Friday mornings.
- Additional training/professional development opportunities, accessible upon completion of the program (up to $2,500).
Leaders are required to participate fully in all aspects of the program.
There is no cost to the selected program participants. The costs of programming and travel to events are covered by The Immigration Hub.
Program Requirements:
- U.S.- based applicants currently employed in a field related to immigration or with a civil or social justice organization.
- Five or more years of immigration-related work experience.
