As part of a CDI to be filled today,  BARCLÉS HOTEL SOFT is recruiting a Chef to continue developing the catering offer; banqueting, room service, restaurant in one of our hotels

Main responsibilities for the position of  Chef  de cuisine :

1.  Establish the map;
2.  Have a good command of European and African cuisine, and Cameroonian regional specificities;
3.  Establish the selling prices decided by the management;
4.  Develop technical sheets;
5.  Place orders and manage inventory;
6.  Controls and carries out the setting up and cleaning of the equipment of the team
7.  Respects and enforces health and safety rules
8.  Ensures the cleanliness of work and storage areas in compliance with HACCP standards
9.  Promotes the good relationship between the kitchen, the hall and the banquet

 

 

 

/.    Animates all the kitchen staff and ensures that a good working atmosphere is created

/.    Offers the highest restorative quality based on cost control

Requirements for the position:

• Proven experience in a similar position in a quality environment and able to demonstrate excellent people management skills
• Focused on business results
• Motivated and involved, you want to inspire the team to exceed expectations in terms of service
• Thoughtful individual with excellent communication skills and a creative mind

 

 

 

REQUIRED DIPLOMA : Technical training in a hotel school of the BTS type, Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent from a hotel school.

EXPERIENCE : Have at least 2(two) years of professional experience as Head Chef in a hotel of at least 2 stars.
