For the needs of its services, the Factory Management of LA PASTA SA is looking for candidates for the city of Douala for the position of:

 

Baker Controller (1)

Purpose of the position:

Carry out analyses on different types of wheat flour, using bread-making, pastry or Viennese pastry processes, in order to validate the quality of the products to be manufactured and delivered to customers.

Main missions:

  • Participate in planning activities and developing quality control provisions;
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturing parameters and instructions;
  • Ensure the availability of various bakery inputs;
  • Collect samples and constitute representative samples for testing;
  • Evaluate the behavior of doughs during bread making and pastry making;
  • Evaluate the quality of finished products (breads, donuts and other pastries);
  • Provide assistance to bakery customers in the event of technical problems with flours;
  • Consolidate and synthesize all self-control data related to manufacturing;
  • Ensure cleanliness in the laboratory;
  • Establish quality control reports.

Profile / Key skills:

  • Bac+2 Chemistry, Biochemistry, Agri-Food Industry, or any other equivalent diploma;
  • Professional experience of at least 1 year in a bakery or in a milling laboratory;
  • Solid practical knowledge in bread making, pastry making, milling and IT;
  • Good command of bakery equipment.

  • The sense of curiosity, creativity and inventiveness;
  • Good physical resistance.

He/she must be:
