BEETLE HERITAGE HOLDING SA/CA is currently looking for a (01)SENIOR LAWYER M/F for its headquarters based in Douala.

MISSION

The Senior Legal Officer attached to the General Management will be responsible for assisting the Head of the Legal Department in advising and legally securing the group’s activities.

Activities

• Advise and assist the Group’s management and other entities in legal matters;
• Carry out the assembly, review and legal validation of contracts, charters, memorandum of understanding and, broadly speaking, any multilateral or unilateral agreement of will;
• Alert the group’s management to the legal risks related to the exercise of their activities and their orientation;
• Investigate legal cases and represent the group before administrative and judicial bodies
• Assess the advisability or risks of initiating or continuing litigation procedures and, if necessary, conduct amicable dispute handling;

• Carry out legal and regulatory monitoring;
• Forward all incoming mail to his/her hierarchy for orientation;
• Seize letters of a legal nature;
• Ensure the representation of the company before labour institutions, court officers, ministries and certain administrative directorates;
• Carry out debt collections;
• Carry out all missions and directives of the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and his hierarchy, in the interest of the Group.

PROFILE

• Academic level: Minimum Bac + 4/5 in business and corporate law;
• Additional training and/or qualification: In-depth knowledge of corporate law, commercial law, land law, security law, intellectual property, knowledge of taxation would be an asset;
• Professional experience: 05 years of proven experience in a similar position or practice of the profession of Lawyer for at least 2 years;
• Minimum age: 35 years + high availability and mobility.
• Managerial and organizational skills
• Mastery of the computer tool (Pack office);
• Have a perfect command of French and English (spoken and written).
