The  Société Anonyme Complexe Multi – Industriel du Cameroun is looking for the needs of its services for 01 experienced heavy goods vehicle driver . 

Location: Douala 

The limited company Complexe Multi – Industriel du Cameroun abbreviated as CMIC is an industrial company that operates in the field of metallurgy, plastics and packaging. We are one of the leaders in the manufacture and marketing of several products such as sheets, TP points, accessories for folded sheet metal and fixing products, PVC pipes, plastic buckets, cardboard boxes and many others. ‘others

 

 

Job Title: Truck Driver 

Main mission of the position:

Ensure the driving and maintenance of trucks, as well as the safety of the goods contained therein and the people on board.

Job activities

•  Before each trip, check the operating condition (cleaning, washing) of the truck;
• Know how to perform basic mechanics;
•  Escalate the malfunctions observed to the hierarchy as soon as possible
•  Control the loading and unloading of goods in the truck;
• Check the conformity of on-board and transport documents
• Check the conformity of the delivery;
• Know how to follow and execute the directives transmitted
• Have a good knowledge of delivery routes

 

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND REQUIRED SKILLS

PROFILE

• Male
•  Justify proven professional experience of at least 02 years in a similar position
• Hold at least a D license

SKILLS

• Know the highway code;
• Know the rules for the safety of goods and people;
•  Know the methods of loading and unloading of goods;
•  Know the rules of personal safety in terms of transport and apply them (compulsory wearing of PPE, etc.)
