Thus, ACMS works in cooperation with the government and its partners in the public and private sectors to deliver high-quality health programs, reaching all populations in need. For over twenty-five years, ACMS has been providing the Cameroonian population with comprehensive, evidence-based public health interventions, including programs in reproductive health, malaria, and HIV prevention, among others.

The Cameroon Association for Social Marketing (ACMS) is seeking candidates (M/F) to fill the positions of Regional Coordinators based in Ngaoundéré and Garoua respectively.
Who are we recruiting?
The Regional Coordinators will have the overall responsibility of providing technical support to health personnel at the health facility, district, and regional levels to improve the quality of HIV care, treatment, and services across the continuum of care. In addition, the incumbents will manage a multidisciplinary team of health professionals/mentors to ensure a team-based and collaborative approach to care in improving site capacity. They will also be responsible for the achievement of all program objectives in their assigned region.
Essential functions:
     Strengthen the capacities of health personnel at all levels of the health system,
 Ensure collaboration and technical support from the Regional Delegate for Public Health and district teams for effective supervision and ownership of all program activities;
     Support site clinical staff in providing clinical care to patients living with HIV and presenting with complex problems;
  Participate in technical working groups of the Ministry of Public Health based on their expertise at the national level and in the region;
     Promote and ensure the use of data and evidence from the program to improve service delivery in real time;
     Lead the development of site-specific improvement plans and lead these interventions to improve clinical systems, standards and processes of care, including ensuring linkages between the community and health facilities;
     Continuously review challenges and assist sites in problem solving to meet clinical and patient needs,
     Participate in advanced training programs, including recognition and management of drug side effects and resistance, identification and management of opportunistic infections, PMTCT, management and prophylaxis of TB and pediatric HIV;
     Work with site and district teams to institutionalize the use of data and information to improve clinical decisions.
Required Qualifications and Work Experience
     Have a Doctorate in Medicine, preferably with a public health degree;
     At least 5 years of demonstrable clinical experience in HIV care and treatment;
     Previous experience in capacity building, including planning and facilitating training and providing technical assistance;
     Familiarity with adult learning principles/techniques and proven ability to design and facilitate adult learning opportunities;
     Registration with a health professions regulatory body;
     Fluency in French and a working knowledge of English.
