Call for applications: Heavy equipment electricians
Les Cimenteries du Cameroun is looking for 01 heavy equipment electricians for the needs of its services.
MISSIONS
The main role of the heavy equipment electrician is to ensure the electrical maintenance of machines, generators and compressors.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out pre-operational and regulatory technical checks
- Replace defective parts (engine, pumps, regulating organs, gearbox, clutch, air conditioning, etc.)
- Be able to troubleshoot electrical components (starters, alternators and converters on the electrical circuit
- Carry out repairs in the event of a malfunction
- Monitor spare parts stocks with your hierarchy
- Systematically check the operation of the machines and make the necessary arrangements for interventions
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards in workshops
- Prepare reports on the maintenance of the equipment in his charge.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
TRAINING
TRAINING
- BAC+2 in Automotive After-Sales Maintenance or Electricity or equivalent diploma
- At least 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance
- Having a Driving License (B, C, D, E, G) would be an asset
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Know how motors work
- Know the IT tools for fault detection and CMMS
- Know how to use geometry equipment, lifting, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.
- Know the health & safety rules
- Know how to read and interpret hydraulic diagrams
- Master the use of diagnostic devices
- Able to react to sudden events
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS
Knowledge of English and French will be an asset
- Know how to communicate effectively with your superiors and colleagues
- Available, precise and meticulous in his work
- Able to work independently
- Able to make decisions
- Able to work in a team
Language
Knowledge of English and French will be an asset
