Call for applications: Market Product Manager
A subsidiary of the Optorg Group , we are the recognized leader in automotive distribution in Sub-Saharan Africa. Tractafric Motors Corporation is present in 23 countries with more than 45 points of sale. Tractafric Motors Cameroun is the Cameroonian subsidiary of the Group.
We are recruiting a Market Product Manager for our regional headquarters in Douala.
YOUR MISSIONS
You deliver the analyzes of the automobile market for which you are responsible, and are the referent in terms of offer and price positioning. You provide recommendations and sales support tools to the sales teams and country general management, and share your analyzes with the group sales & marketing department as part of constant exchanges with our manufacturer partners.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Market intelligence: market analysis & price positioning
- Formalize and share monthly the detailed analysis of the automobile market (weight and evolution of segments & sub-segments, ranking of brands, models, versions by segment, etc.
- Maintain a benchmark of competitive offers in terms of product plans (specifications) and prices (digital monitoring, mystery shopping, field feedback, etc.)
- Update and formalize quarterly comparisons of price-product positioning of our ranges versus competitors
- Recommend price/discount positions and commercial actions necessary for the competitiveness of our offers by channel
- Identify development opportunities, express necessary range developments, contribute where appropriate to the development of BPs associated with the launch of new brands
Product Genius: product information & advice
- Referent of the subsidiary in charge of updating the technical sheets of our ranges
- Contribute to developing the product expertise of the sales forces by building and supplying them with sales support tools (product comparisons & advantages, sales pitches)
- Contribute to improving customer satisfaction by developing handover sheets by model for CCs/Holders for explanations and advice during delivery
- Adapt to market specificities and disseminate information provided by manufacturers during new product launches
- Ensure that our country websites remain up to date (images and texts), do not present erroneous information, and report your observations to the head office marketing teams
YOUR SKILLS/YOUR PROFILE
- Bac + 3 minimum from a business school or university
- 3 years minimum of experience in a similar position in the automotive sector or distribution group
- You analyze data effectively and have a strong analytical mind
- Mastery of office software
- You are results and customer satisfaction oriented
