MISSIONS
Ensure that the Bank’s infrastructure and telecommunications systems meet the needs of the institution and operate efficiently and optimally.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
The role holder will be responsible for the design, implementation, management of the Bank-wide network configuration and provide support in the area of cross-network technology, to include data, voice, Internet and email services and videoconferencing technologies.

- Ensure preventive, curative and progressive maintenance of the bank’s network in accordance with prescribed SLAs and SG Group Governance
- Manage Bank IP addresses to ensure access to Bank information, as needed. Manage the Bank’s routers, switches and firewall systems to ensure internal and external system users have access to Bank information.
- Maintain and monitor the proper functioning of all network communications devices, including TCP/IP management, IP address management, TCP/IP security, etc.
- Collaborate with the Bank’s IT and remote IT teams to ensure the correct and efficient operation of the system at all times.
- Provide technical expertise and direct assistance to Bank staff, in the area of configuration management, to assist in the implementation of the information system, with particular emphasis on networking technologies. Carry out the evaluation of telecommunications hardware and software and make recommendations to the IT manager for their adoption in the Bank’s networked IT environment.
- Ensure analysis, design and programming activities for the inclusion of software, tools and other related components in the Bank’s IT environment.
- Represent the IT Manager in meetings regarding network configuration management activities, with particular emphasis on telecommunications technologies.
- Translate user needs into specifications and standards, in order to include them in calls for tenders and contracts.
- Advise the IS Security Team on electronic security issues relating to telecommunications links and networks.
- Ensure supervision and maintenance of the Bank’s communication links or WAN channels between headquarters and its remote sites.
- Ensure rigorous and rational management of telecommunications infrastructures, with particular emphasis on LAN and WAN
PROFILE
Level of study : Bac+4 / Bac +5 (Master or engineering degree) in network and telecommunications, system and network or network and security.
Desired experience : Experience in network or system administration. Experience in an international context or a multinational would be a plus.
SKILLS
Technical skills:
- Have a good knowledge of Linux systems
- Have hands-on experience monitoring and troubleshooting enterprise networks
- Have a good command of network interconnection technologies
- Have at least CCNP certification level with at least 5 years of practice. A valid and active CCIE certification is strongly desired
- Have hands-on experience configuring CISCO networks and/or CISCO security products including DMVPN/SDWAN
- Have experience with network monitoring, IP monitoring, IP LAN and WAN
- Know network management systems (SNMPc, CiscoWorks, etc.).
