Call for applications: Operations Director
GLOBAL INVESTISSEMENT (GI) is seeking for the needs of its activities 01 Experienced Operations Manager to organize and supervise the daily transit operations of its company.
His role will be to guarantee productivity and good coordination of our company’s activities. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable and able to plan many types of operational activities. The objective is to preserve and increase the efficiency of the company’s operations in order to facilitate the acceleration of its development and guarantee an increase in turnover.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with senior management to set and achieve strategic objectives
- Supervise staff in different departments and provide feedback to General Management
- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of business procedures against the organization’s objectives and make improvements
- Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to improve profitability
- Develop and/or revise policies and promote their implementation
- Manage relationships and agreements with partners and customers
- Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data
- Ensure that turnover forecasts are achieved and that the objectives of each team, including their own, are achieved
- Ensure customer solvency and payment
- Develop and monitor the annual budget for activities (operations/investment)
- Carry out monthly and annual results reporting to general management
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as Operations Director or in an equivalent position
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent sense of communication and personal relationships
- Knowledge of the rules and legal directives of the maritime and air transit sector
- Good knowledge of MS Office and various management software
- Achieve the objectives
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Knowledge :
- Mastery of operating regulations
- Mastery of operations management tools
- Management, ability to lead a team

- Familiar with operating methods implementing automation

TRAINING/DIPLOMAS REQUIRED:
- Ideally with a Bac 5 higher education degree (Logistics and transport)
- Significant managerial experience
- Significant experience of at least 8 years in the field and 5 in a similar position
