The Cameroon Cereals Company, a subsidiary of the KADJI group specializing in the production of cereal-based flour, is looking for a Purchasing Manager as part of its activities .

Position: Purchasing Managers
Age: Minimum 30 years old
Type of job: Permanent
Required diploma: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or in accounting and finance or any diploma in the field
Required experience: 05 years minimum . 

Qualifications required : Additional training, certifications or experience 

Languages : French & English 

 

 

Main mission of the position : 

The Purchasing Manager, must design and apply the company’s procurement strategy, is responsible for all tasks that involve the action of purchasing. Also, he or she ensures the coordination and supervision of the service. 

Activities : 

•  Define the company’s local and foreign sourcing policy
•  Negotiate with suppliers: draw up specifications, prepare a purchase argument, negotiate prices and conditions and draft a contract. 
• Search local and overseas sellers 
•  Negotiate contractual terms of agreements and pricing 
•  Maintain the register of products purchased, delivery information and invoices 
•  Prepare task reports including cost analyzes 
•  Monitor stock levels and place necessary orders 
•  Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay current with industry trends 
• Examine the quality of the products purchased 
• Track orders and ensure prompt delivery
