Role Description and Summary

• Opening an account and mobilizing deposits
•  Identify deposit mobilization opportunities and seize them in a timely manner
•  Constant cross-selling to ensure each account is equipped with at least 3 products
• Consistently and actively participate in sales meetings
•  Propose marketing and sales strategies to management to help capture identified business opportunities
•  Ensure robust execution of established sales calling plans and continuously provide feedback on results

 

 

 

Skills and Qualifications

•  Minimum of an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in banking, finance, sales, marketing or a related discipline
• Bilingual in French and English
•  At least 2 years of experience acquired within a banking or microfinance institution in the commercial function
•  Strong, verifiable evidence of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Solid address book
•  Strong knowledge of microfinance products with a clear understanding of their benefits to clients and to the institution
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong reporting and analytical skills
• Obviously a charismatic individual with a pleasant personality
•  Ability to work under pressure and achieve set goals
• Basic knowledge of social media marketing
•  Ability to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
•  Familiar with how microfinance accounting software works
