Call for Applications: Sales Representative
Role Description and Summary
- Opening an account and mobilizing deposits
- Identify deposit mobilization opportunities and seize them in a timely manner
- Constant cross-selling to ensure each account is equipped with at least 3 products
- Consistently and actively participate in sales meetings
- Propose marketing and sales strategies to management to help capture identified business opportunities
- Ensure robust execution of established sales calling plans and continuously provide feedback on results
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in banking, finance, sales, marketing or a related discipline
- Bilingual in French and English
- At least 2 years of experience acquired within a banking or microfinance institution in the commercial function
- Strong, verifiable evidence of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Solid address book
- Strong knowledge of microfinance products with a clear understanding of their benefits to clients and to the institution
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong reporting and analytical skills
- Obviously a charismatic individual with a pleasant personality
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve set goals
- Basic knowledge of social media marketing
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Familiar with how microfinance accounting software works
