Matrix Telecoms is looking for the needs of its activities 01 Technical Manager

Responsibilities

The main mission of the technical manager is to coordinate all the technical activity of the region for which he works: Survey, installation, monitoring, interventions and technology watch. Administer all equipment in the Access and Distribution layers of the production environment consisting of Routers/Switches, firewalls, etc.

Duties :

•  Ensure the provision of an optimal quality of service to customers in his region, according to the SLAs defined by the technical department
•  Manage technical operations (service offers, monitoring and customer support)
•  Participate in the pre-sales of the company’s products, the development of new solutions and the technical follow-up of customers
•  Ensure the proper functioning of the telecom/network, fiber optic and electrical infrastructure of the region for which he is responsible (POP, aggregation links, etc.)
•  Guarantee the proper functioning of the production tools made available to his department (rolling stock, reflectometry devices, radio frequency, PPE, etc.)
•  Ensure compliance with procedures and standards within the department for which he is responsible
• Guarantee the supervision and technical maintenance of projects
•  Monitor and organize maintenance operations, analyzing the duration and potential impact on the network and customers.
•  Participate in meetings with prospects to assess their needs and perform product demonstrations if required
•  Ensure the reporting and documentation of technical operations, as well as the sharing of information between groups of operations
•  Follow the evolution of the resources of his department and make a monthly evaluation of each of them to submit to the hierarchy

Qualifications

• Bac +5 in networks and telecommunications, or equivalent diploma
•  Knowledge of the technologies used by the company (radio, fiber optics, security, SD-WAN, etc.)
• Knowledge of radio planning and deployment
•  Knowledge of dimensioning, deployment and maintenance of optical networks
•  Use of network equipment (Routers, switches, BST, firewall PTP, OLT, etc.);
•  Use of servers in production (IP plan, Monitoring, etc.);
• Good knowledge of the ISP environment;
• Certifications: CCNA/CCNP, ITIL
• Team management
