CANAL+ International is looking through its subsidiary CANAL+ AFRIQUE 01 Sales Director

Location: Douala, CM

Reporting to the General Management of the local subsidiary and in charge of business development, the Sales Director determines, in collaboration with the General Management, the strategic orientations, the objectives to be achieved and the means to be put in place, after analysis and evaluation of the various components of the market to develop the recruitment of subscribers on the offers of the local subsidiary.




MISSIONS

  •  Achieve annual subscription sales volume targets;
  • Set up action plans according to the managed portfolio (retailers, distributor network, local authorities, telecom operators/ISPs, etc.) to achieve volumes. Observe and analyze competitive offers and propose ad hoc actions;
  • Manage the B to C and B to B teams;
  • Develop the structures of our partners, Canal+ approved service providers with the objective of increasing the number of subscribers (these service providers market the equipment necessary for the reception of Canal+ and CanalSat offers and subscriptions to said package);
  • Carry out the store deployment plan: from location identification to opening;
  • Manage a sales force (15-20 people). Establish training programs to develop teams in their various missions;
  • Participate in the animation of conventions and seminars and set up stimulation operations (of the distribution network for example) and the sales force;
  • Ensure that the network itself is exemplary (merchandising, customer relations, achievement of objectives, etc.);
  • Organize and facilitate the quarterly Business Action Plan




Education, work experience and skills required:

  •  Higher level of education such as business school or university training in business and/or marketing.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in the distribution of subscription products or technology products.
  • Knowledge of sub-Saharan Africa
  • Strong business sense and operational expectations
  • Fluent English
