Action Against Hunger is an international,
apolitical, non-denominational and non-profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).
For our operations in Cameroon, we are looking for:
A CASHIER/ARCHIVIST
I. PURPOSES OF THE JOB
Manage the cash register, record financial transactions and archive them. Audit focal point
II. MISSIONS OF THE JOB
Mission 1: Manage the Coordination Cash Register
Tasks:
Check transaction authorizations and release the necessary funds;
Receive and verify the eligibility of invoices presented in cash payment (compliance);

Monitor and request timely payment of cash due dates (electricity, water, canal bills, etc.);
Monitor small logistical expenses;
Record financial transactions in the cash book;
Record advance requests and closures in the advance book;
Carry out daily (individual) and weekly (under supervision) checks of the cash register
(physical counting);
Carry out monthly closing of the cash register (physical counting, editing of accounting documents,
verification of supporting documents);
Propose possible improvements to the accounting procedures for advances.
Enforce the financial rules of the organization;
Mission 2: Ensure the archiving of accounting documents mission and Assist in the preparation of audits
Tasks:
Receive, verify and archive the physical accounting of the Bases;
Carry out double archiving and fasten documents by lessor contract;
Extract and share accounting documents requested by auditors on the supervision of his N + 1;
Assist with the pre-audit (preparation and review of accounting documents);

Carry out monthly scanning of the accounting documents of the cash register and coordination bank and
rename them in accordance with the nomenclature;
Receive, verify the scan of the bases and store them on the NAS;
Transfer scans of the mission’s accounting documents into the online archiving system;
Ensure the good condition of the conservation spaces;
III. DIPLOMA / LEVEL OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
 BAC in accounting or equivalent diploma, or validation of professional experience of at least
5 months in accounting;
 Professional experience of 1 year in accounting.
IV. REQUIRED SKILLS
 Computer knowledge – Mastery of the English language is an asset;
 Quality for this position: Attendance – Rigor – Autonomy – Organization and Flexibility – Abilities

of analysis and synthesis– Good interpersonal relationships– Sense of confidentiality– Open-
mindedness and team spirit– Good organization.
