Position to be filled:
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Cashier to join our team at Glotelho Yaoundé. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.
Responsibilities
-
- Record customer transactions using cash registers and other point-of-sale systems.
- Ensure pricing is accurate.
- Collect payments in cash and other payment methods.
- Issue receipts, refunds and change to customers.
- Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, answering their questions and resolving their problems.
- Greet customers as they enter or exit the store.
- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area.
- Monitor balance sheet transactions and report any anomalies.
- Manage returns and exchanges of goods.
- Any other related tasks that may be assigned by management.
Qualifications and Qualities Required:
- Basic education
- Secretarial training (an advantage)
- Digital competence
- Customer service skills
- Effective communication
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Reliability and seriousness
- Integrity and honesty
