*CLEANER/YARD-MAINTENANCE AGENT – GOLDEN YOUTH ORGANIZATION (GYO)*

As part of the implementation of the activities of the Global Fund Project (GC7), in particular the operationalization of a Drop in-Center (DIC) in the city of Dschang, the GOLDEN YOUTH ORGANIZATION (GYO) is considering recruiting staff

Job Title: MAINTENANCE AGENT (1)
Contract: Fixed-term contract
Occupancy rate: 100%
Place of assignment: Dschang
1. Required profile

o Any training at least at secondary
school level ;

o Experience in maintenance and cleaning of large spaces and biosecurity desired;

o Reside in the intervention district.

2. Functions and responsibilities

• Participate in the well-being and comfort of DIC staff and beneficiaries by maintaining the internal and external spaces of the DIC;

• Clean the corridors, offices, rooms of the DIC;

• Ensure the disinfection and decontamination of the laboratory and the consultation room of the DIC; Responsible for the impeccable cleanliness of each room for which he is responsible;

• Ensure compliance with hygiene rules and cleaning protocols;

• Take charge of the daily cleaning of different rooms according to the schedule established and validated by the DIC Coordinator;

• Check the contents of the cleaning solutions and prepare them;

• Clean, disinfect and tidy the laboratory according to standards;

• Maintain all DIC premises; • Monitor and ensure the status of the stocks of cleaning products made available to it;

• Define the supply needs for cleaning products;

• Ensure the cleaning slip for each room of the DIC is completed according to standards;

• Carry out any other task within the scope of its activities.

C- Composition of the file

•Updated CV with two (02) references;
• Cover letter with reliable telephone contact details and e-mail address addressed to the Executive Director of GYO;
• At least one letter of recommendation with contact details of reference persons,
• Photocopies of the Diploma(s) and/or certificates or any other document that can justify the level of experience.

Applications in five (05) copies, i.e. one (01) original and four (04) photocopies, are expected in a sealed envelope
no later than October 21, 2024, from the organization’s branches in Bafoussam and Dschang.
