*Competitive Entrance(Concours) for the 2025 Recruitment of  ordinary recruitment of 5,330 Soldiers and Sailors(Navy), 700 Army Non-Commissioned Officers (CNOs) with a General Service and 40 Army Non-Commissioned Officers (CNOs) with a Military Health option,  at the  Joint Military Academy(EMIA)*

PRESS RELEASE 
Young Cameroonians of both sexes, wishing to pursue a career in the Defense Forces, are hereby informed that a competitive examination for the recruitment of 700 Army Non-Commissioned Officers (CNOs) with a General Service option and 40 Army Non-Commissioned Officers (CNOs) with a Military Health option, as well as an ordinary recruitment of 5,330 Soldiers and Sailors 2nd Class are open in the Chief Towns of the 10 Administrative Regions of Cameroon. The conditions to be met are as follows:

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION
Be of Cameroonian nationality;
o have never been convicted;
o be single with no dependent children;
o be of good moral character;
o be able to meet the prescribed sporting, intellectual and medical tests;
o have a minimum height of 1.66 meters for boys and 1.60
meters for girls.
II- SPECIFIC APPLICATION CONDITIONS FOR NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICER CADETS OF THE ARMED FORCES GENERAL SERVICE OPTION
Be at least 18 years old on December 31, 2025 and at most 23 years old on December 31, 2025 (i.e., be born between December 31, 2007 for the youngest and December 31, 2002 for the oldest);
о hold the Probatoire or GCE/AL obtained in at least 02 (two) subjects except religion or an equivalent diploma. However, in the absence of the GCE/AL, the GCE/OL obtained in 06 (six) subjects except religion is accepted.

NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICER STUDENTS OF THE ARMED FORCES MILITARY HEALTH OPTION
Be at least 18 years old on December 31, 2025 and at most 28 years old on December 31, 2025 (i.e., born between December 31, 2007 for the youngest and December 31, 1997 for the oldest);
O hold the Probatoire or GCE/AL obtained in at least 02 (two) subjects except religion or an equivalent diploma. However, in the absence of the GCE/AL, the GCE/OL obtained in 06 (six) subjects except religion is accepted;
hold the State nursing diploma or the Medical-Health Technician diploma, or an equivalent diploma from an approved training establishment.
Diplomas in psychology, psychiatry, resuscitation, stomatology, radiology, cardiology, physiotherapy, ENT, virology, bacteriology, parasitology, immunology, general microbiology, medical science, midwifery or the Midwife diploma are an additional asset for candidates who hold them.
IV- SPECIFIC CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION FOR SOLDIERS AND SAILORS OF THE 2ND CLASS
Be at least 18 years old on December 31, 2025 and at most 23 years old on December 31, 2025 (i.e. born between December 31, 2007 for the youngest and December 31, 2002 for the oldest);
O hold the BEPC, or the CAP, or the GCE / OL obtained in 04 (four) subjects except religion or an equivalent diploma.

COMPOSITION OF THE APPLICATION FILE:
01 handwritten application stamped at 1500 CFA francs, signed by the candidate and addressed to the Minister Delegate to the Presidency in charge of Defense; 01 certified copy of the birth certificate dating back less than 03 (three) months;

01 certified copy of the required diploma or 02 (two) diplomas for the Military Health option;
01 certificate of presentation of the original of the required diploma or 02 (two) diplomas for the Military Health option;
01 curriculum vitae signed by the candidate;
01 duly completed information sheet;
– 04 4×4 color photos without hairstyle;
– 01 certificate of nationality issued by the competent services;
– 01 extract from the criminal record, bulletin n°3 dating back less than 03 months issued by a competent authority;
01 certificate of celibacy;
– 01 stamped envelope for 1500 CFA francs addressed to the candidate.
Candidates will pay, against receipt from the Head of the Administrative and Financial Office of the Military Sector of the application center, a sum of 10,000F (ten thousand francs) CFA for candidates for the ordinary recruitment of Soldiers and Sailors of the 2nd Class and 15,000F (fifteen thousand francs) CFA for candidates for the competitive examinations of Non-Commissioned Officers of the Armed Forces, General Service option and Military Health option, representing the competitive examination fees.
However, for all these 03 (three) Specialties, it is strongly recommended that each candidate include in his file, [a legalized photocopy of his highest diploma, with a certified copy of the supporting document of the technical qualification held where applicable.
The attention of candidates is drawn to the fact that they must not enter into marriage before 03 (three) years of service have been completed.
Candidates must be able, if necessary, to present authentic diplomas to the competent committees, under penalty of rejection of their files.
Complete application files will be received at the Command Posts of the Military Sectors of the candidates’ places of residence, at the latest on Friday, November 28, 2025 at 3:30 p.m., deadline. /-
