RADIO-PRESS RELEASE
THE MINISTER DELEGATE TO THE PRESIDENCY IN CHARGE OF DEFENSE RELEASES:

It is brought to the attention of young Cameroonians of both sexes wishing to pursue a career in the Defense Forces, that a competition for admission to the Joint Military School (EMIA) will be organized on August 12 and 13, 2023

 

 

 

at the single center of Yaoundé, in the sectors and conditions below:
I – GENERAL CONDITIONS OF CANDIDACY
– Be of Cameroonian nationality;
– be single without dependent child(ren);
– enjoy their civic rights;
– be of good character;
– have a minimum height of 1.67 meters for boys and 1 meter for girls; – be physically fit.

 

 

 

II – SPECIFIC CONDITIONS PER SECTION
1 – SECTION “A”
(Direct recruitment of civilian holders of the Baccalaureate + 1)
Number of places: 125
– Be at least 18 years old and at most 23 years old (be born between 31 December 200 and January 1, 2005);
– hold a baccalaureate in all series or a GCE / AL obtained in at least two (O) subjects apart from religion; have successfully completed at least one year of study in higher education. 2 – TRUNC ”
C “
(Direct recruitment of civilians holding a higher education diploma or an engineering diploma)
Number of places:

– hold a higher education diploma or an engineering degree.

3 – “B1” TRUNC
(Joint Recruitment. Non-Commissioned Officers with Baccalaureate)
Number of places: 15
– Be aged 30 at most (be born on or after 31 December 1993);
– hold a baccalaureate in all series or a GCE/AL obtained in at least two subjects apart from religion;
4 – “B2(b)” SECTION
 Joint Recruitment Personnel NCOs holding a
higher education diploma or an engineering diploma
Number of places: 05 aged 32 at most (be born on or after December 31, 1991); holder of a higher education diploma or an engineering degree; have a minimum of 5 years of service.
5 – TRUNK “D(b)”
Direct recruitment of civilians holding a doctorate in general medicine, pharmacy,
dental surgery, veterinarian)
Number of places: 10
Be aged 30 at most (be born on or after 31 December 1993); hold a doctorate in medicine.
6 – TRONC “D(c)”
(Direct recruitment of civilian doctors holding a specialist diploma)
Number of places: 05
Be aged 35 at most (be born on or after 31 December 1988); hold a specialty degree in medicine.

III – COMPOSITION OF THE FILE
01 A4 format envelope stamped at 1500 CFA francs bearing the handwritten information below: surname and first names, complete address and trunk;
– 01 handwritten request stamped at 1,500 CFA francs, addressed to the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence;
– 01 certified photocopy of the birth certificate dated less than 3 months; 01 certified photocopy of the required diploma;
– 01 certified photocopy of the certificate of achievement or the transcript of marks for the first year of university studies (candidates in trunk A); – 01 certificate of presentation of the original of the required diploma; – 01 curriculum vitae;
– 01 certificate of nationality issued by a competent authority (magistrate);
– 01 extract from the criminal record, bulletin N03 dating from less than 3 months issued by a competent authority (magistrate) •
– 01 certificate of celibacy (civil candidates);
– 01 reduced file (military candidates);
– 01 cardboard folder;
– 01 information sheet to be obtained from the Human Resources Department when filing the file;
– 04 half 4×4 color photos on a white background without hairstyle.
Candidates will pay against receipt to the Human Resources Department of the Ministry of Defense a sum of 20,000 CFA Francs (twenty thousand CFA Francs representing the costs of the competition. Complete application files will be received in Yaoundé at the Human Resources
Department of the Ministry of Defence, no later than Wednesday May 31, 2023 at 3:30 p.m.
