The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation is a global leader in the fight against pediatric HIV and AIDS, working in 19 countries and more than 5,000 sites around the world to prevent HIV transmission to children and help those already infected. Objective of the work:
The Data Entry Officer Consultant will be assigned to a site with the possibility of covering a set of sites in the region. He/She will work under the direction and supervision of the Head of Strategic Information and Evaluation. He/She will mainly be responsible for abstracting data from primary sources using smartphones or paper questionnaires. He/She will also ensure the maintenance of the security and confidentiality of the extracted data in accordance with the data management plan. He/she will collaborate with all frontline staff, including site manager, nurses, APS, Data Clerk, Associate M&E officers, etc., and ensure compliance with data management procedures to support the complete and timely transmission of data through the server.
Main responsibilities:
• In collaboration with frontline Monitoring and Evaluation staff and program staff at the site level, collect data for each eligible patient.
• Ensure daily data entry into a digital questionnaire using an electronic data collection system in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Ensure the organization and storage of documents after data entry and generate a report.
• Verify data from source documents and make necessary corrections and updates as required.
• Ensure secure storage of data collection tools • Maintain good relationships with collaborators and other staff involved in the data
collection process;
• Ensure quality and prompt processing of all activities;
• Ensure diplomatic and proactive identification and resolution of issues;
• Performs any other duties related to data collection as assigned by the supervisor.

Required qualifications: • Level:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in public health or nursing;
• Experience with COVID data entry and data management;
• Have a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Pack, be familiar with the use of digital data collection tools: ODK, ODKX, etc.;
• Language: bilingualism (French and English). However, be able to speak fluently in one language and be proficient in the other language.
• Other skills required: good interpersonal skills, availability, flexibility, punctuality, interest in public health, rigor and motivation.

Technical qualification The technical qualification will be evaluated during an interview with a selection committee:
