DATA ENTRY OPERATORS NEEDED AT ACMS

Who are we?

The Cameroonian Association for Social Marketing (ACMS), a member of the PSI network, is a non-governmental organization under Cameroonian law, whose main mission is to improve in a sustainable and measurable way the social situation of the Cameroonian population and to promote the health and prosperity of families. Thus, CASI works in cooperation with the government and its public and private sector partners to deliver high-quality health programs, reaching all populations in need. For over twenty-five years, ACMS has provided the Cameroonian population with comprehensive, evidence-based public health interventions, including programs in reproductive health, malaria, and HIV prevention among others.

The Programme d’Accès aux Services de la Santé de la Reproductive (PASSR) which recruits is a development project of the Republic of Cameroon co-financed by the Federal Republic of Germany through its development bank (KfW). CASI is responsible for the large-scale implementation of this Program.

Indeed, the PASSR implemented in four (04) regions of Cameroon (East, Adamawa, North and Far North) aims to increase the use of modern family planning methods including long-term methods of action.

Your Contribution:

• Receive at the end of each month, the service delivery data collected in the health facilities of the ProFam network and sent to the regional office by the Quality Assurance officers;
• Verify all data received;
• Enter all received data into the DHIS2 analysis tool;
• Present the inconsistency and incompleteness of data awareness at the source;
• Provide support to the various surveys and studies organized by the program;
• Write and submit a monthly activity report.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for twoData Entry Operator Consultants (M/F) who will embody the following CASI values:

The basics:

• Hold a BAC + 2 in Computer Science, Accounting, Social Sciences, Statistics, Management or an equivalent degree);
• Professional experience of at least one (01) year in data entry;
• Substitute for the required degree: Have more than five (05) years of experience in data entry;

• Strong problem-solving skills;
• Good ability to plan and anticipate potential and emerging obstacles;
• Demonstrate adaptability, patience, ingenuity, resilience and flexibility;
• Results-based management skills;
• Be available to carry out regular field missions.

What would excite us?

• Familiarity with social marketing and/or NGOs;
• Fluency in French and/or English and have a sufficient command of the other language;
• Good command of computer tools and software (Word, power point, Excel);
• Passion for public health;
