I-Missions  / Responsibilities / Activities

 

1- Administrative and financial management

  • Ensure the preparation of tender submission files;
  • Be responsible for the quality of the work and for the budgetary monitoring of its construction sites
  • Train the agents under his responsibility in best practices and techniques for studying and executing construction sites;
  • Participate in the selection of subcontractors;
  • Check and validate the completion of the various plans and documents;
  • Define, assign, control and supervise the work of employees;
  • Participate in the recruitment of employees;
  • Participate in identifying employee training needs;
  • Carry out reporting and ensure that turnover objectives are met.
  • Monitor activity indicators for all projects under his/her responsibility: current business volume, monitoring of customer and supplier invoicing.
  • Check the statements and situations established by the Project Manager, Project Engineer and Works Manager;
  • Ensure good document management of various market files;
  • Prepare with the CFO and the TD the monthly, quarterly and annual activity reports on the progress and completion of projects carried out by  LA TOILE CONSTRCTION

2-Technical management

  • Study projects upstream;
  • Ensure the application of the provisions of the technical procedures manual;
  • Establish, coordinate and manage project banks falling within its technical competence;
  • Ensure that the register of qualified companies (subcontractors) is updated;
  • Coordinate and supervise technical studies and work entrusted to the company;
  • Evaluate the technical feasibility of the project, estimate quotes.
  • Define operating methods: production processes, establishment of work execution and supply schedules, workload plans and intervention phases
  • Consult with service providers, select and negotiate subcontracting and supply contracts.
  • Prepare annual programs;
  • Supervise the activities of project managers, site managers and/or project engineers working under his authority;
  • Materially facilitate technical missions (supervision, technical audit), and provide all necessary information and documents;
  • Prepare the reception of the work carried out by his team for the benefit of the beneficiaries;
  • Maintain technical documentation meeting the needs of SAI LA TOILE;
  • Propose to the DG and the DT study themes aimed at improving the performance of his department;
  • Carry out any other tasks that may be assigned to him by the General Manager and the Technical Director.

3-Project management

  • Develop the annual work plan for SAI LA TOILE projects in consultation with the Project Managers (technical managers) and/or Project Engineers;
  • Coordinate the implementation of projects;
  • Prepare periodic progress reports and weekly and monthly execution points as well as reports to project owners;
  • Identify solutions to bottlenecks with Project Managers, Project Engineers and/or Site Managers;
  • Monitor and evaluate the achievement of results.

4- Customer relationship management

  • Ensure management of key account clients, prospect for new clients.
  • Represent the company with the project owner (client) and the project manager (architect).
  • Provide regular reporting to clients on the progress of work and compliance with budgets.
  • Deliver construction sites to clients in compliance with the costs and deadlines set out in the specifications.
  • Guarantee to stakeholders the correct application of contracts and amendments related to the work, resolve disputes.
  • Supervise after-sales service and monitoring of associated services

 Skills / Requirements / Qualities

  • Training / Experience / Minimum level: Engineering diploma or university degree (BAC +5) in Civil Engineering, or Construction Engineering; additional certificates in civil engineering and management would be an asset.
  • Professional experience: Have professional experience of at least seven (07) years as an Engineer in the construction sector, including at least four (04) years in a role as Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer
  • Be bilingual
  • Age: be between 28-37 years old
