      In 2022, as part of the renewal of the concession contract signed on December 9, 2022, the former Société d’Exploitation des Parcs à Bois du Cameroun, founded in 1971, was split into two separate entities. One of these entities is the Douala Port Timber Terminal (TBPD). March 1, 2023 marked the effective start of the Terminal’s activities. The Douala Port Timber Terminal is distinguished by four main areas: Reception of timber in the form of logs and sawn timber, Storage in specially designed concession areas, Stuffing of timber into containers, Delivery of timber to ships intended for export.

   ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 certified, TBPD is recognized as a specialist in port timber handling. It is part of the Africa Global Logistics group, itself integrated within the Maritime and Logistics giant MSC, a global leader in the sector. Mission Description

• Ensure the execution of all cleaning and maintenance work in the parks using construction equipment

• Loading bark and cleaning barges.

 Carry out park cleaning work wherever needed.

 Drive the construction equipment provided.

 Comply with safety standards in the parks during work

 Apply and enforce the company’s QHSE instructions

 Comply with the company’s Code of Ethics.

Profile

 Qualifications &/or Professional Experience:

– G license required

– CEP and or 2 to 3 years of professional experience in the field.

 Good knowledge of handling construction machinery.

 Knowledge of safety standards

 Good physical condition,

 Clean, respectful, honest

 Training in defensive driving would be an asset
