JOB DUTIES
Assigned to the service of our non-food stores, the Non-Food Management Controller will be responsible for implementing the process of controlling the efficient use of resources mobilized to achieve budgetary objectives and manage the financial performance of these stores. He/she communicates to decision-making bodies, data on operational results and budget forecasts to inform their strategies. He/she proposes corrective measures to improve the profitability of the company.
MAIN ACTIVITIES

- Development of management procedures and toolsParticipate in the development and implementation of reporting tools intended for General Management;
- Design dashboards;
- Participate in the definition of management procedures and ensure their compliance;
- Support managers in developing/updating action plans;
- Budgetary Control and Financial Performance ManagementCarry out critical reviews of accounting and budgetary data;

- Develop forecast budget analyses;
- Propose various prospective corrective actions (modification of objectives and budgetary deadlines);
- Model and update forecast income statements;
- Monitor operating and investment budgets;
- Monitor the application of the expenditure commitment procedure;
- Establish reconciliations between accounting statements and budget monitoring commitments;
- Carry out monthly studies of the gaps between financial objectives and results.
- Monitoring of turnover and marginsControl and disseminate daily turnover;
- Check and validate reconciliation statements;
- Supervise the monitoring of outstanding customer receivables;
- Participate in margin monitoring and analyze consistency with store dashboards (TB);
- Track and analyze markdowns.
- Participation in the activities of the entityParticipate in the development of the unit’s budget;
- Participate in the development of the unit’s action plan;
- Write reports (activities, action plans, business risks, etc.);
- Participate in any other activity at the request of management (professional seminar, budget conference, awareness raising, training, etc.).
PROFILE
Training and Professional Experience:
-
- Academic level: Alevels/Bac+5/Masters in Management Control, finance, economics, auditing, accounting
- Language level: French (fluent) and English (intermediate)
- Professional experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the field, particularly in management, administration and budget monitoring. Experience in mass distribution would be an asset.
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION
- Excellent knowledge in data analysis (multidimensional and descriptive), statistics, economic and accounting analysis;
- Good knowledge of the company culture (professions, operations, values, codes, languages);
- Knowledge of operational risks related to the company’s field of activity;
- Mastery of accounting and financial techniques;
- Mastery of information systems (Excel, spreadsheets, databases, accounting ERP);
- Mastery of budget management;
- Sense of organization and planning:
- Sense of rigor and precision;
- Strength of conviction and proposal;
- Development of management procedures;
- Drafting/presentation of a management report;
- Preparation and analysis of a budget;
- Design of tools and dashboards;
- Preparation of financial statements.
