ECOBANK CAMEROUN SA is looking for someone to able to work throughout the national territory.
This position is based in Douala.
OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
Processing of GUCE operations
Carry out any other task assigned to him by the hierarchy
Ensure the Back up of the person in charge of the Guarantee Post
Provide general satisfaction to customers
Help improve the quality of service of the Bank
Reduce customer complaints
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out the various tasks on time, while respecting the accounting procedures of the
CAP MANUAL, the laws and regulations in force
Pass the entries in the banking system and submit for authorization
Process the customs duty settlement operations
Ensure the payment of collected customs duties
Process direct debits
Process and supervise direct debit imputations
Enter/modify Swift messages and submit them for authorization
Classify and archive GUCE files.
Manage GUCE-related complaints,
Enter operations in regulatory declaration platforms.
Develop PROOFs on internal accounts.
Update daily the status of direct debits and customs duties collected or
paid
Produce daily, weekly, monthly, annual reports and any other report related to
GUCE operations
Coordinate the daily, weekly and monthly production of statistics on
the clearance of direct debits
Ensure and coordinate the clearance of direct debits
JOB PROFILE
Experience
5 years of experience required in direct debits and customs duty settlement
, good experience in banking professions.
Knowledge of the GUCE transaction processing procedure
Knowledge of International Trade
Knowledge of IT tools
Knowledge of Accounting Techniques
Knowledge of English
Knowledge of SWIFT
Good knowledge of Exchange Regulations
Perfect knowledge of Customs regulations.
Education
Minimum BAC+3 in Banking, Foreign Trade, Finance, Accounting, Law, Transport
and logistics or other equivalent training.
