General information​​​​​​​

    Made up of a group of Cameroonian shareholders, Africa Global Logistics, CMA CGM and CHEC, the Kribi Conteneurs Terminal consortium is the concessionaire of the container terminal of the deep-water port of Kribi. 
KCT offers the Cameroonian logistics chain a modern infrastructure, adapted to the new generation of transoceanic vessels, including 350-meter quays that can accommodate vessels with a capacity of up to 11,000 TEUs. The infrastructure and equipment comply with the highest international standards.

A true gateway to Cameroon and its hinterland countries, such as Chad and the Central African Republic, this new terminal is expected to facilitate the growth of regional trade and accelerate the country’s economic growth. Kribi Conteneurs Terminal also wishes to position itself as a transhipment hub.

Job Description

Mission Description 

• to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and electronic machines and equipment on the TAC;
• Treat as light preventive maintenance the machines planned by the team leader;
• Treat as heavy preventive maintenance the machines planned by the team leader;
• Ensure the electrical and electronic repair of the machines planned by the team leader (diagnosis, repair, list of parts, removal of parts, reassembly, testing, etc.)
• Ensure the repair of electronic devices and components;
• Prepare the worksheets;

• Ensure the cleanliness, order and tidiness of the workshop;
• Participate in departmental technical on-
call duty; • Occasionally participate in operations not related to their section;
• Carry out troubleshooting and repairs on site;
• Communicate in a way that ensures the proper flow of information with their hierarchy;
• Ensure compliance with safety instructions on the TAC;
• Ensure that the five values ​​of entrepreneurial spirit, the pursuit of excellence, integrity and loyalty, humility and understanding of the environment are part of any action he or she undertakes;
• Respect the internal regulations, work procedures and QHSE instructions in force;
• Ensure the good condition, proper use and maintenance of the equipment for which he or she is responsible;
• Report any problem that he or she cannot resolve alone to the hierarchy;
• Report his or her activities;
• Any other tasks assigned by his or her hierarchy.

Profile 

• Hold a BAC+2 level diploma with an electronics or electrical engineering option
• Be able to read and write French fluently;
• Professional experience: Cumulative experience of 3 years, including 1 in a similar position, particularly in electrical and electronic maintenance of machines;
• Required skills: Ability to communicate effectively – Great listening skills, autonomy and adaptation – Open-mindedness and ability to make suggestions – Enthusiasm and dynamism – rigor and organization – work under pressure – sense of reporting – autonomy and punctuality – sense of customer service.
