Location : Douala Cameroon
A PROJECT MANAGEMENT FINANCE MANAGER FOR ITS REGIONAL FINANCIAL
DEPARTMENT
- Within the AFCE Regional Finance Department, in interaction with all the finance departments and Resource teams of the Region, the finance project manager ensures and coordinates the implementation of all the projects carried out by the Finance departments of the region.
- He is the guarantor of the proper implementation and execution of the financed project portfolio and ensures its direct supervision.
- He also ensures the relationship with the Project Management Officer of DFIN/AFMO and is the privileged interlocutor.
- He prepares and ensures the presentation of the progress of Finance projects to the Regional Financial Director and, if necessary, to the Regional CODIR.
As such, he is responsible for:
- Ensure the coordination and management of the AFCE Finance project team (and in subsidiaries when such a team exists within the financial departments);
- Contribute to the development of skills in project management of teams in subsidiaries;
- Ensure the management of the project portfolio of the Regional Finance Department;
- Ensure the updating process of the staffing of project resources;
- Ensure the management and steering of projects identified in the portfolio
- Coordinate the production of the various project reports and restitution materials;
- Coordinate the carrying out of checks for his unit, as part of permanent monitoring.
Main activities
- Ensure the coordination and management of all the teams dedicated to the projects
- Define and monitor a development plan for each team member;
- Provide the necessary support for the development of skills of employees in project management;
- Monitor employee activity
- Organize and lead service meetings
- Coordinate with the regional project team.
Contribute to the development of skills in project management of the teams of the attached subsidiaries.
- Propose project training plans to resources;
- Organize explanatory sessions with the project teams.
- Ensure the management of the Finance project portfolio of the AFCE Region
- Organize the collection of all the information needed to update the portfolio;
- Collect information for updating the site portfolio and ensure its periodic updating;
- Organize and lead the periodic meeting with the various stakeholders;
- Organize and lead the periodic review of the PTF of the subsidiaries in the region;
- Participate in PTF reviews with headquarters.
- Ensure the process of updating the project load plan of the regional management
- Collect information on project / site capacities;
- Develop the workload plan with the project division;
- Organize load plan validation meetings with the businesses;
- Ensure the consistency of the capacity to do with the registered projects and sites;
- Centralize the EDBs of new requests (projects & sites) and participate in internal analysis committees.
- Ensure the management and steering of Finance projects and delegated projects
- Supervise the planning and implementation of projects;
- Ensure the validation of the different project phases (Collection of validation documents for passing from one stage to another);
- Set up indicators (quantitative, qualitative, etc.) for project monitoring: budget, deadlines, quality of deliverables;
- Support the business lines in structuring their project approach and formalizing their reporting;
- Ensure communication related to projects.
Ensure the production of project reports from the Regional Finance Department and the relationship with SGABS on delegated Finance projects
- Ensure, in conjunction with SG ABS, the monitoring of the execution of Finance projects
- Ensure the quality of deliverables (compliance, consistency, content)
- Ensure the performance of permanent monitoring controls
- Participate in the implementation of Permanent Surveillance (Daily Safety, Formalized Supervision);
- Supervise the carrying out of the controls assigned to the project division.
