Article J “‘: A competition for the recruitment of one thousand thirteen (1013) students in the 1st year in the Mentions
Industrial Technologies (ITM), Tertiary Technologies (MTT) and Information and Communication Technologies
Digital (MTIN) of the Initial Training Division at the University Institute of Technology of the University
of Douala and at the Higher Institute of Emergence (ISE) of Yaoundé, for the academic year 2023/2024.
The competition will take place on July 11, 2023, in the centers: Bafoussam, Bamenda, Bertoua, Buea, Douala,
Ebolowa, Edéa and Yaoundé.

Article 4: The application file must include the following documents:
D) An information sheet duly completed online on the Douala IUT website at:
www.iut-douala.cm, then printed, signed by the candidate and stamped at 1500 FCFA;
2) A certified photocopy of a birth certificate dated within the last three (3) months;
3) A certified copy of one of the diplomas giving right to the competition;
4) A certificate of schooling for the final class;
5) A medical certificate issued by a civil servant doctor, dating back less than three
(03) months and certifying that the candidate is fit to pursue higher education;
6) Four (04) 4X4 identity photos of the candidate;
7) A bank payment receipt for an amount of twenty thousand (20,000) CFA francs representing the fees
registration for the Douala IUT competition, to be paid to account N 10033 05214 14004000006 CLE 90
UBA or BTCEC, Account NO 01253101002-18; 1
8) An A4 envelope (21 0X297) stamped at 400 CFA francs, bearing the candidate’s address;
9) This competition is open to Cameroonians of both sexes and foreigners aged twenty-nine (29)
at most, on January 1, 2023.
Article 5: The complete files will be deposited no later than July 07, 2023, strict deadline, in one of the

Article 6: The competition is written and will take place on July 11, 2023 at the centers indicated in article 8.
Article 7: The writing includes the following tests for each specialty:

These tests are in accordance with the programs of the final classes preparing for the diplomas required in article 3 of
this decision.
Article_8: The entrance examination to the 1st year of the University Institute of Technology (IUT) of the University of
Douala for the academic year 2023/2024 is open in the following centers: Bafoussam, Bamenda, Bertoua,
Buea, Douala, Ebolowa, Edea and Yaounde.
Article 9: A press release from the Rector of the University of Douala will specify as necessary, for each
competition center the place and schedule for the conduct of the tests.
Article 10: Candidates are invited to present themselves in front of the examination rooms one hour before the start of the
first event, with their national identity card or any other valid identification document.
Article II: Following the publication of the results, the definitively admitted candidates will have a period of 15
days from the date of the effective start of the lessons to report to the establishment in order to fulfill
registration formalities. After this time, those who have not presented themselves at the establishment will be considered
as having resigned and, where applicable, replaced by candidates from the waiting list in order of merit,
by decision of the Minister of Higher Education, on the proposal of the Rector of the University of Douala.
Article 12: The Rector of the University of Douala, the Director of University Accreditations and Quality, and
the Director of IUT Douala are responsible, each in his own sphere, for the execution of this decision
which will be recorded and communicated in French and English wherever necessary.
