NETWORK TECHNICIAN Location :Yaoundé

Your role

Responsible for improving the functioning of the technical service, providing technical support and meeting customer needs. You will use all your technical knowledge to carry out your missions.

Main missions

• Improve the functioning of the technical service
• Technically assist commercial actions
• Conduct training workshops
• Make technical proposals for customers
• Propose solutions to customer problems
• Propose technical improvements
• Participate in the development of service offerings and improve existing ones
• Ensure the reporting of technical interventions

Activities

• Install and configure equipment in enterprise infrastructures
• Provide training to clients
• Assist the sales department in its actions
• Detect opportunities with new customers
• Identify new business opportunities with existing customers
• Study, design and carry out VDI network implementation work
• Provide technical support to customers and collaborators
• Project monitoring
• Be an ambassador of the ESSIDI brand to prospects and customers

Profile

• Training BAC + 2/3 minimum in computer science, networks and
• telecommunications, communication or any other.
• Have 3 to 4 years’ experience in a similar function within a
• ICT company
• Experience in installing VDI networks
• Experience in using ticketing and helpdesk tools
• Experience on Mikrotik, Cisco and other equipment

Skills

• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and OSI
• Ethics and professionalism
• Able to work under pressure
• Be autonomous and have a spirit of initiative
• Be organized and rigorous
• Good oral and written communication
• Good analytical skills

The most

• Be bilingual (French and English)
• Have Mikrotik, Cisco and other OEM certifications
