In the implementation of its market penetration strategy, FIDEV Cameroon opens a new Agency
in Douala. We are therefore looking for an Account Manager to support the Agency in our market penetration strategy.

PRESENTATION OF THE POST

I. Objectives / Summary of the position
Under the authority of the Head of Agency:

  • He is responsible for the agency’s trade mission. Specifically, he is responsible for the growth in number and quality of the Agency’s portfolio.



II. Responsibilities

    • Lead projects and propose marketing actions, sales, and participate in communication to ensure customer satisfaction with economic development prospects for the company;
    • Proceed with account openings;
    • Ensures that account opening fees have actually been deducted from the client;
    • Perform updates to savings books;
    • Process salary advance forms;
    • Update client records;
    • Follow customer portfolios (prospecting; follow-up and loyalty)
    • Establish and sign account opening and closing forms;

  • Ensure the security of account opening operations;
  • Archive customer files;
  • Study and analyze requests for account certificates and other miscellaneous requests from clients;
  • Manage portfolio concerns (claims, complaints, etc.);
  • Receive and analyze credit files;
  • Arrangement of loan agreements and taking of guarantees;
  • Maintain and update the register of guarantees deposited by customers;
  • Archive and secure the guarantees deposited by customers;
  • Monitor debt repayments and collections;
  • Establish Customer reminder letters;
  • Prospect each month for new Customers (transfers and sale of currencies, etc.);
  • Prospect each month and open new accounts (employees, check, current company, savings);
  • Participate in group prospecting.
  • Perform all other actions and tasks recommended by the hierarchy.




PROFILE

  • Age/Gender: Not specified

Diploma / Level of study:

  • BAC + 3 Minimum Level Training
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in business/management or economics
  • Good knowledge of Commercial Law
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Very good knowledge of the finance sector

Competence and experience

  • Mastery of products sold in EMFs;
  • Good command of the computer tool;
  • Sense of responsibility and organization;
  • Good writing and communication skills;
  • Good command of office automation and management software
  • Be bilingual (English/French)
